30% ruling in the Netherlands shortens to 5 years in 2019

Croatian nationals no longer require work permits in the Netherlands

The Dutch government has decided not to extend the transitional regime which requires Croatian nationals to have a work permit to be able to work in the Netherlands. As of 1 July 2018 is the work permit for Croatian nationals therefore no longer required. This means that Croats can enjoy full access to the Dutch labor market.
